RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 125 g butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 1/3 cup crushed cornflakes
Directions:
- Cream the butter and sugar together until the mix is light and creamy.
- Add the egg the mix and beat well.
- Fold in the sifted flour and bicarbonate of soda.
- Add the oats, cornflakes and peanuts and mix well.
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto a lightly greased oven tray.
- Bake in a moderate oven (180° C) for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
