Banana French Toast With Chocolate

RECIPE

Ingredients:

• 4  slices bread
• 2 bananas, sliced
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/2 cup butter, for frying
• 100 g greek yogurt or mascarpone cheese
• 2 tablespoons Nutella or melted chocolate

Directions:

1. Whisk together milk, egg, cinnamon and honey in a medium bowl, and then dip each bread slices into egg mixture, soaking well.
2. Pre-heat a skillet  and add 2 tablespoons butter.
3. In batches, fry the soaked slices of bread until the egg mixture is fully cooked, about 3 minutes per side.
4. Top the French toast with banana slices, yogurt or mascarpone cheese.
5. Serve warm with a drizzle of melted Nutella or chocolate.
