RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bread
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, for frying
- 100 g greek yogurt or mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoons Nutella or melted chocolate
Directions:
- Whisk together milk, egg, cinnamon and honey in a medium bowl, and then dip each bread slices into egg mixture, soaking well.
- Pre-heat a skillet and add 2 tablespoons butter.
- In batches, fry the soaked slices of bread until the egg mixture is fully cooked, about 3 minutes per side.
- Top the French toast with banana slices, yogurt or mascarpone cheese.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of melted Nutella or chocolate.
